There are four key roles in the Maintenance department. It’s no surprise that we couldn’t do without them. If anything breaks or goes wrong, we call upon our in-house maintenance team. Nothing is ever too much trouble for our trusty colleagues. So could we count on you? Night shift premium applies for any hours worked between 10pm-4am.

Maintenance Manager

With our superb Regional Distribution Centres and first-class equipment, you’ll have everything you need to keep things moving efficiently. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Director, you’ll manage a team which includes a Maintenance Section Leader, Deputies and Engineers. Together, you’ll ensure that our Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) and its equipment are safe, efficient and well maintained. There are plenty of personnel responsibilities too. We’d like you to supervise the team’s performance, as well as take care of the rotas and holiday schedules.

Day to day, you’ll report and repair any defects you might find with the electrical or mechanical installations (or recommend the purchase of extra equipment). We’ll also need you to keep a close eye on the physical quality of the environment: is the vehicle wash and fuel area safe and well maintained? Is the paintwork clean and smart in the loading dock?

You’ll also be a registered key holder who will need to attend any alarm call outs at the RDC. As you’d expect, this role is full of responsibility.
