This department shares best practice knowledge with other Aldi offices in different countries. We deal with financial queries and advise others how to run and adapt to different markets. It means we often discuss confidential information with senior Aldi colleagues and help them to set policies.

So, needless to say, standards are incredibly high and there’s a great deal of responsibility. It means that you’ll have plenty to do in a short amount of time, so you’ll never be clock-watching.

Our team is based in the National Head Office in Atherstone. In this area, we have qualified Accountants ensuring that our Accounts teams run effectively to meet all our financial obligations. There are many levels within the National Finance & Administration side of our business, ranging from Assistant to Director. National Finance & Administration Manager

As our National Finance & Administration Manager, you’ll head up the team that takes a closer look at how Aldi is performing and shares best practice knowledge with our international business. You’ll ensure that your team produce the kind of reports that allow our Directors to make business-critical decisions. Crucially, you’ll highlight where the finances are heading and flag up any areas that need particular attention. What you say – and do – will make a real difference to the future of Aldi.

This senior role requires a strong leader with a passion for getting the right results. For instance, you could be managing the team who consolidate the monthly regional financial results, ensuring that everything is in a clear and digestible format. As the person who shines a light on any issues we need to be aware of - or areas that need special attention – we couldn’t do without you.

National Tax Manager

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategy, ensuring compliance with all VAT legislations and leading on projects to ensure the business is compliant with legislative changes.

You will represent the Tax Department across the business, so it's crucial you have strong communication skills and keep up to date with VAT topics.

As a Direct Tax Lead you will be responsible for the UK and Irish corporate tax compliance and tax reporting under FRS102 and IFRS. You will be responsible for making corporate tax payments and keeping up to date with corporate tax legislation changes.

As a Tax Analyst you will be responsible for the UK and Irish VAT compliance and advising the business on the VAT implications of projects. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement of tax processes and controls, as well as monitoring changes in case law, legislation and regulation for impacts on the business.

National Finance & Administration are an integral part of the business ensuring that payments are made efficiently and accurately.

As a Tax Specialist, you will assist the Tax Managers in ensuring Aldi remains compliant with all relevant tax legislation in the UK and Ireland. The role provides a great opportunity to develop knowledge of Corporate Tax and to understand how a large business works.

You will represent the Tax Department across the business, so it is crucial you have strong communication skills and keep up to date with Tax topics including Transfer Pricing and Capital Allowances.

In this busy role you’ll have great levels of responsibility for maintaining the configuration of our Payroll solution that pays all of Aldi’s 35,000+ colleagues across the UK and Ireland.

National Finance & Administration are an integral part of the business ensuring that payments are made efficiently and accurately. Technically skilled and analytical, you’ll have an in-depth knowledge of configuration, pay elements  and project management from idea conception to design, implementation, testing and supporting roll out to the wider business.

You’ll be liaising with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally driving each task and project to success.

You’ll join the team that helps us take a closer look at our business to see how we’re performing as a whole. Very often, we’ll share that best practice knowledge with Aldi across the world, so your role is pretty important to our future vision.

As a National Finance & Administration Analyst, you’ll look at the detail of how the business is run. For instance, you could be involved in consolidating the UK and Ireland monthly accounts for financial planning. You might be taking responsibility for filing Corporation Tax returns. Or you could be scrutinising performance in order to make 10-year financial projections.

As a Personal Assistant you will provide a comprehensive and professional support service to your Director through managing the systems and processes in the area of responsibility.

Providing vital support to a specialist field, such as Finance & Administration, Payroll, Handling of Payments or Project Management, much of your role is about keeping our day-to-day accounting processes up to date. It's a role that's full of variety and challenges, requiring a talented individual who is able to work within and alongside a busy team.
