Our Logistics Apprenticeship Programme

This Level 2 programme gives you a rare insight from some of the industry’s most talented people. You’ll learn all about how our products get from suppliers to our customers’ shopping baskets, and work your way towards a Level 2 Supply Chain Operative qualification.

It’s a fascinating process, with lots going on, but you’ll discover all the techniques to take on this rewarding challenge. And, with a structured career path, you’ll be well on the way to becoming a success within our business.

Online Application

We like to keep things  nice and straightforward. There’s an online application form to highlight your key skills and experience. Once you’ve submitted your application, our hiring managers will screen your answers. If you are successful at this stage, you’ll then be invited to the next stage of the process.

Individual Interview or Group Assessment

Your Individual Interview or Group Assessment will take place at the Regional Distribution Centre. You'll be asked a series of questions and scenarios relating to the job role you have applied for.

‘Aldi Experience’

Finally, you’ll take part in the ‘Aldi Experience’ where you’ll discuss the personal strengths you can bring to the role, and gain an insight into what working at Aldi’s really like.

FAQs

You don’t need any qualifications to apply for the Career Starter programme. You just need to be conscientious, ambitious and able to do things without being asked. You should have bags of common sense and take responsibility for yourself.

The Logistics Apprenticeship takes 12-15 months to complete. Providing you successfully complete your Level 2 Supply Chain Operative qualification (according to our high standards) you will move into one of our roles in the Warehouse.

You can apply during your final year at school. However, you must be at least 16 and have received your exam results before you start on the Apprenticeship Programme.

We’ll be accepting applications for our Logistics Apprenticeship throughout the year as we recruit for our programme all year round.

We accept applications all year round and start dates can be flexible.
